Please make sure you check the size of the shirt very carefully (see the tag on the second photo). The B stands for Bust and is the armpit to armpit measurement in inches. The L is the Length and is from the top of the shoulder to the bottom of the hem.

I always recommend finding a shirt in your own closet that fits and measuring it armpit to armpit. Sizes like "Medium" are subjective whereas actual dimensions are more exact.
